Baking club will be a unique club on Foothill’s campus because we want to focus on building skills for our future: baking (and cooking)! Food is a necessity to our lives and we know that while many of Foothill’s students would love to have the opportunity to learn how to cook or explore their passion, they just don’t know where to start. We want to encourage our community to broaden their skillset, palates, and passion through finding new recipes and sharing our family favorites with each other.
We plan to focus on building all kinds of cooking and baking skills by learning difficult techniques, good food pairings, and more to help educate all the members in making healthy (and tasty) decisions in relation to their diets. We will also connect with the community further by donating our homemade baked goods to locals, therefore giving us even more pathways with which we can spread knowledge and culture. Baking, at its core, is a selfless art that encourages kindness and connection within communities, and we will help to spread those values through this club.

I want to escalate something. How do I contact the Club Council?
The Club Council is a central body governing the operations of all clubs on campus. They are not involved with the specifics of the club, as that responsibility is shared by the club officers. The Club Council assigns a Councilmember to oversee each club. You can contact the assigned Councilmember at council@foothillclubs.com.
