๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ’ปGirls Who Code

This is an ACTIVE club for 2023-2024.

What is this club about?

Foothill Girls Who Code on a mission to shorten the gender gap in tech. We believe that diverse ability, culture, identity, and opinion makes our organization stronger. We arenโ€™t just preparing our members to enter the workforce- weโ€™re preparing them to lead it, improve it, and transform it. Foothillโ€™s Girls Who Code is a free program for students to join a community of supportive peers and role models using computer science to change the world. Our club is completely free and offers fun activities through a flexible curriculum that adapts to your unique needs. Meetings take place in person during Access. We host weekly projects and presentations, allowing our members to learn in an engaging environment. Our projects will teach our members more about coding and allow them to apply their knowledge to their own projects to help the community. Additionally, we host guest speakers to learn more about career pathways and the possibilities of coding. Coding can be a challenge, but we hope to foster a sisterhood that makes it a fun and comfortable experience with everyone.

I want to escalate something. How do I contact the Club Council?

The Club Council is a central body governing the operations of all clubs on campus. They are not involved with the specifics of the club, as that responsibility is shared by the club officers.
