Science bowl is a buzzer-based team competition testing knowledge in science and math topics. Questions are read audibly to two teams at once, who then "buzz in" to answer before the other team can. Our weekly practices create a fun competitive atmosphere more like a game than a competition.
Schools across the country host online and in-person invitationals, which we compete in about five of each year, culminating in the Bay Area regional competition in January. Foothill is one of the strongest teams in the country, regularly hosting and placing well at invitationals. In 2023, we placed third at regionals; this year, we're aiming for first place and an all-expenses-paid trip to nationals in DC.

I want to escalate something. How do I contact the Club Council?
The Club Council is a central body governing the operations of all clubs on campus. They are not involved with the specifics of the club, as that responsibility is shared by the club officers. The Club Council assigns a Councilmember to oversee each club. You can contact the assigned Councilmember at council@foothillclubs.com.
